Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Lake Naivasha
You’ll be picked up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel and begin your scenic drive toward Naivasha. Along the way, enjoy a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you’ll take in the stunning panoramic views of the escarpment and the vast landscape below. Upon arrival at Lake Naivasha, you’ll check into your lodge and enjoy a relaxing lunch.
The rest of the afternoon is yours to unwind, take a boat ride at an additional cost at Lake Naivasha and enjoy the lodge’s facilities at your leisure.
Day 2: Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you’ll check out of the resort and begin your journey to the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve (approximately 4–5 hours, 280 km). The scenic drive takes you across the floor of the Great Rift Valley, offering breathtaking views of its expansive landscapes and surrounding hills. Upon arrival in the Masai Mara, you’ll check into your lodge or camp and enjoy a relaxing lunch.
In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive in one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. The Masai Mara is famed for its abundant wildlife, including the legendary Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as predators like cheetahs and hyenas. Depending on the season, you may also witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration, as thousands of wildebeest and zebras brave the Mara River in search of fresh grazing grounds.
After the game drive, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
Day 3: Explore Masai Mara National Reserve
After a hearty breakfast, you may choose to embark on an early morning game drive or simply relax at camp and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the bush. For those venturing out, early morning is one of the best times to witness predators in action and observe the savannah as it comes to life with the rising sun.
You’ll return to camp for a wholesome lunch before setting out on a culturally enriching visit to a nearby Maasai village. Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you will be warmly welcomed by our airport representative. After a brief introduction to your safari driver-guide, you’ll be transferred to the Nairobi Serena Hotel for check-in.
Enjoy a restful afternoon at your leisure, with time to unwind and explore the hotel’s excellent facilities. Dinner this evening will be at your own cost.
Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
After a sumptuous breakfast, you’ll depart for the Athi Plains, heading to the breathtaking Amboseli National Park, set against the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Arrive in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool before heading out on a late afternoon game drive, where you may spot elephants, buffalo, lions, hippos, and a variety of plains game and bird species. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Amboseli.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park Experience

Day 8: Masai Mara National Reserve – Return to Nairobi

Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your Nairobi hotel if you’re extending your stay, or to the airport for your onward journey.

Begin your adventure with a morning departure from Wilson Airport in Nairobi on a scheduled flight to the renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival at OlKiombo Airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide, who will transfer you to the camp for check-in and lunch.
Later in the afternoon, you may choose to embark on a game drive. As the golden sun sets over the vast savannah, watch as wildlife begins to settle in for the night— often gathering in herds, offering a spectacular and serene end to the day.
Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 2: Full-Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
Today offers the chance to enjoy up to three game drives, increasing your chances of spotting the Big Five—though leopards may remain elusive due to their solitary nature. A packed lunch for a full-day game drive can be arranged with your guide, depending on weather and road conditions.
You can enhance your safari with optional experiences at an extra cost, including a sunrise hot air balloon ride with panoramic views of the savannah, or a cultural visit to a local Maasai village for insight into their traditional way of life.
Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
Enjoy your final breakfast in the heart of the bush before checking out of the camp. You’ll have a game drive en route to the airstrip for your mid-morning flight back to Nairobi. Please note that late departures from the reserve may incur extra charges due to the 12-hour park rule.
